Ornald had done an extraordinary work on my suits, overcoat and shirts! He is very friendly and knowledgable that could lead a newbie to the bespoke world.

Ornald Wilson is the proprietor of this tailor shop. He is such a lively spirit, precision tailor and kind soul. Simply pop in to see Ornald and then get some custom suits and shirts made in the process too. As it pertains to customer service, Ornald really is top notch. Ornald I believe is from the Caribbean, but speaks English and Cantonese. I will update this review upon receipt of the items we are having made, but we are happy with the experience thus far. We walked in on one day to get fitted and sized. They then make a template that you need to come back to try on like the next day. After that, they will make one shirt to ensure that it is the perfect fit, which takes about another day. And finally, now that they have your templated shirt down and perfect, they keep that kind of on file and you can have countless shirts made. Once the template is done, the turn around on getting your shirts is a day or two at best. If you are a visitor to Hong Kong, you could then simply e-mail Ornald, he will send you some fabric samples to your home and as long as you did the template piece with him of having made to your custom size, he can then make any for you, you pick the fabric from the samples he would send you and then he will mail to you. To locate the tiny shop, if you are walking west on Wing Lok Street, right as it merges with Des Voeux Road, hook a sharp right on Wing Wo Street and it is tucked in right there. It is at the southeast corner of where these three streets collide. (Source: Yelp)

The artist is present. The artist in this case is Ornald Wilson, the charismatic and tirelessly enthusiastic proprietor of this shop. Although many of his customers are out of towners who blow into the shop for a quick and decently priced suit, he has a legion of regulars, myself included. Such devotion is earned through fair prices, quality craftsmanship and a dedication to quality such that he won't even take your money until you are 100% satisfied - sort of like the Baymax of tailored shirts and suits. If a button pops off, a slight alteration is needed or if you need the lining replaced - he'll do it. No questions asked and no charge. Ornald is especially endearing to customers who are perhaps new to the world of custom tailored suits. He will gently guide your decision making process in terms of style and accessories. He can even do it in Cantonese if you'd care. And he will break common misconceptions of how a suit ought to be cut, ensuring that your fit even matches your lifestyle and usage pattern. In most cases, a suit can be made in 4-5 days. A day for measuring, the following day a mock up, two days later the nearly final product and one more day to address final tweaks. Shirts and even women's dresses can also be had in a similar if not shorter time frame. Whether you're new or used to the world of bespoke suits and shirts, Ornald will give you a great product at a fair price. That ideal combination in itself is a rare art form in this industry.
